Arbiter White Paper
An illustrated overview of Arbiter’s intended early instance assessment, automated oversight and responses within configured limits. In development; first planned release: Drift Sidecar.
DownloadAI assurance from formation to operation
Arbiter is being developed to assess AI instances as they form and watch for signs of drift, hallucination or error during use. The paper illustrates the intended operating lifecycle and a clearly labeled example.
Configured automation and escalation
Once configured, Arbiter is intended to monitor automatically, carry out permitted responses and escalate issues that need attention. Changes to approved expectations or expanded permissions still require authorization. Output verification and multi-model corroboration are part of the broader platform direction.
Development and evaluation
Minimizing added burden and influence is a design objective. Operational readiness and performance remain to be established. The paper outlines an evaluation approach covering useful findings, missed issues, uncertainty, operating burden, automatic responses and escalation.
